ABOUT

The NAC is a not-for-profit organization, established to provide a fun, safe, and alcohol & drug free place for students, ages 8-18, to be on Saturday evenings from 6-9 PM.

The Never Alone Club's roots can be traced back 30 years ago to the community of East Bloomfield. Citizens began to band together against drug abuse and express their concern and support for the local youth. Simultaneously, these at-risk teens were looking for safe, drug free place to hang out. Thus, the two groups came together and found a solution in the The Never Alone Club.  As the years went by, the Club became a fun place with life- enhancing activities where any youth ages 8-18 could feel comfortable to mingle with friends on Saturday nights.

The Club is located on the corner of Michigan St. and Main St. in the village of Bloomfield, NY and is shared with (but not affiliated with) Renewalk Christian Ministries and other community organizations. Most Saturday evenings, you can find the club members enjoying their favorite music while playing video games, foosball, cards, pool, or just hanging out. Our programs includes field trips, professional counselors to discuss coping skills, and service projects in the community. All Club functions have the oversight of at least 3 adults.

Club Hours:

  • Saturdays 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

  • Times may vary according to field trips, special events, or other activities

What our chaperones have to say:

Nancy Seeley: "For 30 years I have dedicated myself to support and encourage youth at the Never Alone Club.  The reward on this journey has been measured in hugs, tears, laughs, or just quiet times."

Mike and Anita McClure: "In 2000 we got involved with the Club because our children were interested in it. We stayed involved for our grandchildren. We’ve watched life-long friendships be formed at club."

Wayne and Wendy Pettengill: "We have chaperoned on Saturday nights and on field trips on various levels for 13 years. We have watched a number of youth graduate.  We hope we have given as much as they have given back to us. We feel  any youth can benefit from being a part of the Never Alone Club."
